The Odd Trio covers Odd Future

The Odd Trio is a group of kids equipped with a piano, a drum set, and a bass guitar that make the most swagged out covers of Odd Future music I have heard yet.  The group, which consists of Matt Tavares on the piano, Alex Sowinski on drums, and Chester Hansen on bass, takes three Odd Future songs “Bastard”, “Assmilk”, and “Orange Juice” and uses them as a base in order to create their own unique and  very impressive jazz versions.  What makes this such a great work-over of Odd Future’s stuff is that the three musicians performing are clearly very skilled in the instruments they play and have enough knowledge of music to take what the songs gave them and use it to create something entirely original and fantastic.  I couldn’t find anything else done by these guys, but hopefully they release some more great stuff like this in the future.  Check out their covers as well as the original songs they cover below..
